Course Leader
John Connor has been an independent team inspector for MFL and Special Educational Needs with OFSTED, and works for the Welsh equivalent, ESTYN. He is an Assessor for the Advanced Skills Teacher and Excellent Teacher scheme. He has worked for the DCSF as a consultant on the “Building Schools for the Future” capital investment project.
John is also a training consultant for Asset Languages (the assessment system for the National Recognition Scheme) and one of the Regional Trainers in the East and West Midlands for the Secondary National Strategy Key Stage 3 Dissemination and Development Programme. He is also a Regional Subject Adviser for the roll out of the New Secondary Curriculum. He still teaches when other commitments permit.
