Reem Labib, M.Ed., an educational leader based in Washington, DC is an independent consultant focused on global school improvement and reform efforts with extensive experience in the United States and the Middle East. Reem has participated as a team member in school quality reviews for seven years, evaluating schools serving students in grades PreK-12. She has also served as head of schools supervising multiple principals, principal of an inclusive arts-infused elementary school and also as deputy director of professional development for a school district. To bring awareness to teachers and school leaders of the power of a team approach to meeting the needs of all learners.
About the Workshop
This session will allow participants to explore the definition and purpose of co-teaching and the different models that are widely used. The critical need for collaborative/team planning will be discussed as well. Templates will be shared that can be adopted or adapted for team structure, student information snapshots, team planning, team communication and team reflections.
